Personal Statement:
I am a mature student and my passion in computers has been game and business related for over 15 years, of course I enjoy to play games, but I also enjoy creating them even more, I thrive on having a challenge or a problem presented to me, then having the responsibility to solve the problem. I enjoy most areas of computing and have a great knowledge of business methods having run my own business in the home entertainment industry, I built a business over 12 years that started with a loan of £1500. This was sold with 4 retail outlets in 2002; I enjoyed the challenge, but felt that I was able to do more with computers and games than just sell them. This was highlighted when I designed an Epos system that is now used in over 300 retail outlets across the UK.

I love the thought process in creating things that previously did not exist. My studies at the University of Wolverhampton have not only re-enforced what I already knew, but have expanded my knowledge of how software solutions are created. My modules in Java, C, C++ and SQL have helped me understand how to program and provide simple to use solutions for anyone to use. The knowledge that I have gained over the years with XHTML, PHP, ASP, AJAX and JavaScript has also proved to be a great help in producing these solutions with usable Web GUI's.

I have taken my basic programming knowledge and applied it to other languages such as Macromedia Flash Actionscript to provide applications for simple solutions in specialised areas.

I am passionate about driving and exotic cars; I love to race karts and own a 125cc whisper kart. I love travelling/driving to the coasts and I enjoy listening to ambient trance music.
