University Study
Towards the end of 2000 I had been experimenting with Epics Unreal Tournament game engine and was attempting to create new levels. Most of my attempts were terrible and I decided I needed to do something more about my skills. I started an evening class two nights a week for 3D Computer Modeling and Animation at Smethwich Collage and a Photoshop course at West Bromwich College.
With the certificates I gained at college it allowed me to enter the University of Wolverhampton to start what I can only explain as a learning curve I could never have imagined, a BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Games Development) that I started part time and studied for 3 years before biting the bullet. I stopped working to study full time in 2006.

A prototype screenshot of my last environmental work with the Torque Engine from Garage Games. This included creating and working with LOD (Level Of Detail) models, collision detection, and GUI (Graphical User Interface) creation.

Next is my "Final Project" which I'm hoping will fit all the pieces together for a simple game. I have learnt and understand far more about relational databases and data integrity over the course and hope to use these persistant storage skills in the future for all areas of delevopment.
